Stratford upon Avon
Forever associated with our great bard, William Shakespeare.
Stratford upon Avon is one of the delights of England, a small but beautiful town on the River Avon. You will see the old timber framed buildings, the thatched roofed cottages, a wonderful array of little shops and teashops.
We will show you where Shakespeare was born, where he was christened on 26th April 1564, where he went to school as a boy, the place where spent his final years, and where he is buried.
This is your tour — if you wish, we can try and arrange a theatre visit for you — you can go backstage and see the workings of the great Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Or even arrange tickets to go and see a performance (depending upon availability and timings). You can hire a rowing boat and see Stratford from the river. Or enjoy a pint of Ale in one of the old historic pubs of Stratford.
Two hours minimum required.
